Crossroads
After The New Generation exhibition, Anne felt a strong call to paint another series of pictures.
As Anne painted each picture, she realised a theme was forming. This was the cross, and the journeys, paths and roads to it. So came the name "Crossroads". The focus of the pictures was also different. Instead of being aimed at individuals, Anne felt that these paintings were a message for the Church.
New Generation Exhibition
These paintings are based on a prophecy given at a leaders meeting in 1989 at Camber Sands. It was suggested to Anne that she might illustrate the prophecy. And so this exhibition was born. Anne painted the 31 silk screens over 4 years; many of them are over 5 feet tall!
The exhibition is split into three parts:
Creation - illustrates the creation of the universe!
The Fall - shows the fall of man. This tackles difficult issues such as teenage suicide, abortion, abuse and peer pressure.
Revelation - illustrating the painful death of Christ on the cross.
